Again, this would be my first New Year away from home. At ang masaklap pa nito, nag-away nanaman kami kanina sa Skype, yeah. Every Christmas at New Year nalang, ganun. Tapos mag-isa nanaman magcecelebrate si mami. As if naman may magagawa pa ako diba? Inutusan ko nalang yung isa sa mga bestfriend ko dun na puntahan nalang nila or papuntahin nila si mami, just so she could spend New Year with someone.

Sa totoo lang, hindi na uso samin yung mga fireworks. I think it was 5 years ago since nung last kaming nagpaputok. I mean di naman talaga paputok, pa-ilaw lang. Yung tipong lusis at fountain lang. Yun lang. We usually go to one of our neighbors and then there you go, fire away!

Pero this past few years, wala na. Maghahanda nalang kami ng Buena Noche pag sinipag, tapos magpapatugtog ako ng malakas, para party-party.

When I look outside our window, I can see beautiful fireworks up in the sky. Minsan nga parang contest na e. Pagandahan kasi.

Idk, but sa Pinas lang ba legal ang fireworks? Oo ata. Dito kasi, di pwede bumili ng fireworks kaya bawal ka magpaputok. Kaya sa mga public places nalang kagaya nung Marina Bay at Siloso Beach.

First time kong mag New New Year na tipong nasa labas talaga ako with other people just to watch some fireworks and all.

Siguro mas masasabi kong mas masaya parin ang New Year sa Pinas. Kasi at least dun, you can do whatever you want. Unlike here and in other countries, wala lang. Kasi naman, dito hindi naman nila masiyadong pinag tutuunan ng pansin ang Christmas at New Year. Chinese New Year ang pinaka-celebration dito.

New Year’s Eve tom. So I have decided to join my blockmates at Marina Bay to watch the countdown instead of going to the Beach with my cousin and his friends, cause it’s quite expensive too.

Since I love fireworks, I’ll prolly enjoy it. :)
